The New York Times reports that NFL veteran Danny Clark has a new smart car. The linebacker for the New York Giants said he tried the whole SUV thing before, but this time he wanted to drive something good for the environment. He fits comfortably in his smart car even though he weighs 245 pounds and stands a full six feet and two inches tall. Guess that’s why he’s called the “Green Giant!”
Normally I’m not into football, but now if anyone asks if I have a favorite player, I will answer affirmatively that Danny Clark and I are united by our smart cars!
I’m six feet tall, and I have to say, my smart car is decadently roomy. It feels like I’m “stepping into a chariot” when I get inside instead of “sitting down in a car.” There’s plenty of leg room, even with my heels!
If you check out the article’s picture, I’m pretty sure he’s got a silver Brabus smart forTwo. Hot!

I agree, it ain’t only for small folk.
At 6′2″ I have no problem getting in, or driving the SMART. And the seat adjustment gets a workout, because my 5′2″ wife and I share driving the SMART.
What a great cool car, and the gawk appeal makes for interesting discussions.
